Technical confessions is coming up to it's 1 year birthday with a couple of months to go and I have to say that I'm heavily pleased with the progress the website.
Since my last Technicalconfessions-specific blog, I have included some new parts to the website.
I have removed the original taskbar on the side of the webpage. After reviewing google analytics, I noticed that hardly anyone was using this (including myself). As an add on to the website, I have placed my uploaded videos on youtube at the bottom right page. This does not dynamically change in respect the the page information as I only have 3 videos that I've uploaded. I the future, I might consider saving the embedded links within a database to apply more dynamics to the website.
Last month I received 2,000 unique users within that month. that's not 2000 new users but instead 2000 different people that entered my website.
I also noticed that my technicalconfessions.com is now in the shortlist of searches on the Alexa website, that I was excited about. The website has also increased it's ranking website.
After reviewing the archived blogs, I noticed a spike in global rankings for my website. I would like to believe I can get within the 1 million though that's going to require so much effort.
So far...
September 2012: Unranked
October 2012: Ranked 24,397,528
February 2013: Ranked 8,043,026
Furthermore, I've added a sneaky banner within the posts pages in the hope to get more revenue than my $0.05 a day average :-(
Moving on and upwards

For what I see, there's not too many supportive documentations out there that will demonstrate how provision AD group membership with the ICF connector using OpenIDM. The use of the special ldapGroups attribute is not explained anywhere in the Integrators guides to to the date of this blog. This quick blog identifies the tasks required to provision AD group membership from OpenIDM to AD using the LDAP ICF connector. However this doesn't really explain what ldapGroups actually does and there's no real worked example of how to go from an Assignment to ldapGroups to an assigned group in AD. I wrote up a wiki article for my own reference: AD group memberships automatically to users This is just my view, others may disagree, but I think the implementation experience could be improved with some more documentation and a more detailed example here.
