Expanding the number of users selection for Identity Role Mining within OIA
Within Oracle Identity Analytics, the limit of users by default is set to 500. This is set low because role mining (or whatever terminology you use whether it's role management, role analytics etc) requires excessive server resources to complete. That said, OIA 11g cannot go beyond 1000 simultaneous users.
The reason why that's the case is because the users you select will be parsed into a SQL 'where' condition (e.g. select all users there globaluserkey in (user1, user2, user3 etc)
To set the number higher to 500 though lower than 1000, review the following files:
vi ./staging/WEB-INF/jsp/reRoleMining.jsp
vi ./staging/WEB-INF/dwr-context.xml
vi ./staging/scripts/common/ui/dialog/advancedSelectionCriteriaUI.js
vi ./scripts/common/ui/dialog/advancedUserSearchUI.js
vi ./WEB-INF/idw-context.xml
This takes into account the amount of users you select, along with ensuring that you present the pageSize limit also

For what I see, there's not too many supportive documentations out there that will demonstrate how provision AD group membership with the ICF connector using OpenIDM. The use of the special ldapGroups attribute is not explained anywhere in the Integrators guides to to the date of this blog. This quick blog identifies the tasks required to provision AD group membership from OpenIDM to AD using the LDAP ICF connector. However this doesn't really explain what ldapGroups actually does and there's no real worked example of how to go from an Assignment to ldapGroups to an assigned group in AD. I wrote up a wiki article for my own reference: AD group memberships automatically to users This is just my view, others may disagree, but I think the implementation experience could be improved with some more documentation and a more detailed example here.
