OIM11gR2 PS2 installation error: OPatch failed with error code 73

The OIM11gR2 PS2 installation is 95% difference with the OIM11gR2 procedural installation. I was however aware that SOA patch is mandatory for the installation of OIM. When I executed the following command, I would receive the following error:

[oracle@localhost OPatch]$ ./opatch napply SOAPATCH -oh /home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_SOA1/

SOLUTION

https://technicalconfessions.com/images/postimages/postimages/_278_3_SOAPATCH for OIM11gR2PS2.png

Turns out that you need to install the OIM 11gR2 PS2 package first, THEN you apply the SOA patch (because the SOA patch is included within the OIM installation package. This is presented within the Oracle Document. You must however patch this before configuring OIM.

Extract the SOAPATCH directory

Navigate to the Disk1 and locate the OIM_11.1.2.2_SOAPS6_PREREQS.zip file.Extract the folder anywhere you want (typically, everything gets shoved onto the Desktop!)

You then need to locate the OPatch file, which can be located within the Oracle_SOA1/OPatch directory.

[oracle@localhost OPatch]$ pwd
/home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_SOA1/OPatch
[oracle@localhost OPatch]$ ls
crs emdpatch.pl ocm opatchauto opatch.bat opatchdiag.bat opatch.pl oplan
docs jlib opatch opatchauto.bat opatchdiag opatch.ini opatchprereqs

You are then ready to patch.I have placed the full qualified name to execute the OPatch command though below is an example

/home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_SOA1/OPatch/opatch napply /home/oracle/Desktop/SOAPATCH -oh /home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_SOA1/

You will then be provided with the OPatch succeeded. statement

The WeMos D1 is a ESP8266 WiFi based board is an extension to the current out-of-the-box library that comes with the Arduino installation. Because of this, you need to import in the libraries as well as acknowledging the specific board. This process is highly confusion with a number of different individuals talking about a number of different ways to integrate.

HOW TO provision AD group membership from OpenIDM

OpenIDMICFAD-connector

For what I see, there's not too many supportive documentations out there that will demonstrate how provision AD group membership with the ICF connector using OpenIDM. The use of the special ldapGroups attribute is not explained anywhere in the Integrators guides to to the date of this blog. This quick blog identifies the tasks required to provision AD group membership from OpenIDM to AD using the LDAP ICF connector. However this doesn't really explain what ldapGroups actually does and there's no real worked example of how to go from an Assignment to ldapGroups to an assigned group in AD. I wrote up a wiki article for my own reference: AD group memberships automatically to users This is just my view, others may disagree, but I think the implementation experience could be improved with some more documentation and a more detailed example here.
